Project Description
The project involves setting up a Common ETP by Ranipet Tannery Effluent Treatment Ltd in Tamil Nadu that ensures the tanneries operate their wastewater treatment system. The recycled effluent is repurposed by the tannery units for the washing of animal skins, which would have otherwise relied on groundwater from local bore wells. This approach not only conserves valuable groundwater resources but also promotes sustainable water management practices.
